I am thrilled that the football season is over. How pathetic is that?

I’m becoming numb to my favorite team, and that’s even worse. The Bills haven’t been to the playoffs since I was in 8th grade. I’ll be graduating from college in May. Awesome. Makes me feel really good.

Anyways, the Bills need a lot of new faces.

Poz is boredline useless and apparently hasn’t made a big play all year long.

The coaching staff is awful, the head coach doesn’t discipline his players, or know how to coach during games.

The kicker is good, unless it’s a clutch situation, in that case…he kicks like he’s using a nurf ball.

The tight end can’t run, block or catch.

The holdout “best tackle in the league” is a fat pig, who couldn’t block virus on his computer.

That about sums it up. Feel free to let me know if I missed anyone. See you next year on this sorry team.

Mair, Max and Montreal Make Me Mad

How’s that for a tounge twister?

Adam Mair is playing terribly this year. I don’t care that he has a few lucky goals. Mair now has 72 Penalty Minutes which leads the team. That would be awesome (I suppose) if they were mostly majors, but no. Adam Mair has 16 freaking minor penalties, two of which came tonight. Don’t tell me their because of hustle and determination either. Mair is a penalty machine: 75% of them are dumb, and 25% are lazy.

Max. I hope every game is you play here is your  last. You are horrendous. You almost lost the game tonight in overtime. I hope you’re waived/traded/disappear. I can’t even express how awful you are. Happy trails.

100 years of hockey and Montreal fans really suck. I’ve never heard a bigger bunch of babies. Every time a Canadien is looked at the wrong way. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOo. Really? That’s pretty original. Not to mention your dumb ole song (This is not soccer) that you sing in tie games. Get some class. You seem like a 10 year old fanbase rather than 100.

Kaleta’s done like dinner

Like him or not, I saw it coming. He can only run at so many guys before someone (Gauthier) is crazy enough to not care. Unfortunately for Kaleta, he probably has a concussion because of it.

The unwillingness to engage in fisticuffs ultimately led to Kaleta being sucker punched by a notorious cheap shot artist. It was not called for, but it was bound to happen.

In better news, Petey got his first point of the year. He went hard to the net and got rewarded for it. Typical new NHL rules prevented him from pulverizing Gauthier into oblivion, as Peters had the restraints put on by Lindy. He’ll have a big challenge ahead of him tomorrow, with Georges Laraque in Montreal.
Miller looked awesome, even though it’s the Kings, 40 shots are 40 shots.

GERBE INJURED

“The Sabres are on the ice in HSBC Arena, with a couple of noticeable absences. The first is Nathan Gerbe. We’ll have to wait for Lindy Ruff’s post-practice news conference for the exact reason, but the likely answer is Gerbe has been sent back to Portland. Patrick Kaleta appears ready to return, which would give the team a surplus of forwards.” -John Vogl.

Interesting as the Kaleta fansget to see their guy back it would seem( Skated with Gaustad, Peters and Paille). Lindy is going for more grit than skill, but pretty surprising given the recent team success.

EDIT: Gerbe is injured. He’s out up to 2 weeks with a setback in yesterday’s practice. Listed as an “Upper Body Injury” After an elbow to the head, one can draw its own conclusion.

25 games in, the team looks horrendous, I’ve decided that I am going to write about what I want, and not what’s popular. I’m sick of blogging about bad players and a fruit basket team…blah blah blah.

Big AP is now the only thing I have to look forward to on game nights. I’m guessing he’ll earn a bunch more games too, seeing as he’s one of the few that believes in hitting and playing physical. I guess this is going to turn into a rant because (now that I think about it) I am pretty sick of getting questioned for owning his jersey. At least once a game, some drunk at the arena will always say: “Oh, you got a Peters jersey?”

Here’s what I’ve wanted to say to you all, but have been too polite to say in the past.

Yeah, it does fucking say PETERS on the back doesn’t it? Jeez, must have been my mistake. I wanted it to be a Vanek. Guess the people at the Sabres store really boned me this time. Thanks for pointing out something totally obvious. I mean seriously? By the way, your sweet ass Mair jersey is pretty cool. :barf:

What has he ever done to you? I know Petey is no Rob Ray, but let’s get serious; Rayzor wasn’t exactly Gretzky on his skates either. As for you casual fans who say that he sucks: I think you suck. A 4th line player is NOT put out there to score. A 4th line player is NOT put out there to dangle through defenders. A 4th like player IS supposed to hit, scrap, and bring energy to the team and building. You tell me…seems like he does his job.

I know many of you “mouse potatoes” love to call an Enforcer useless, but the fact of the matter is that the Enforcer has been around since oh, I don’t know, the first ever face-off? Tell me, how many of you 9 to 5′ers would actually try to engage in a fight with a man ranging anywhere from 6′2-200 to 6′8-260?

That’s what I thought (Not very many). So the next time you go down to the arena maybe you should think to yourself: There’s a guy that actually gives a damn about this team and city. I don’t see him calling out the fans like Boo Stafford. Peters gets paid the least, but is probably respected most on the team…and that’s what really matters. Hey, I know it’s all about winning. After all, no one cares about charities (Family Justice Center, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) or the guy that throws pucks to little kids.

I hope Peters signs a 10 year deal. 76 FTW.
